KG Newsletter Term 1, Week 14
KG1
This week was a short week in kindergarten due to the long National Weekend. In KG1 we still managed to have a great week of learning and enjoyed the different activities we played. We practiced making patterns using colors. We sorted the teddy bears into colors and fed them honey with the matching-colored honey pot. We introduced the phoneme /e/. We practiced tracing the letter and writing the phoneme /e/ on the whiteboard. We decorated beautiful eggs for our /e/ activity.
KG2
In KG2 we also had a nice fun week. We revised all the letters and sounds. We played lots of different games to practice. One of our games was feeding Mr. Shark all the different letters that were printed on the fish. In math we focused on sorting objects by color, shape, and size. The children had great fun sorting out the different objects. In P.E we played lots of fun teams building games.
