KG Newsletter Term 2, Week 18

KG1

In KG1A we were learning about the /m/ sound… we listened to the ‘Monkey Puzzle’ story and made cool monkey masks.

KG1 reviewed letter Rr, they also took part in practicing their motor skills such as cutting with scissors and doing activities like robot puzzle. The students also practiced their basic shapes and did patten shape activities.

KG2

In KG2 we revised our sight words and learned two new words: can and up. We had fun finding the words in the water and were very happy when we found the correct ball! We also revised our addition by using number bonds and writing our sums.

KG2 students also learnt about farm and jungle animals, they took part on sorting the animals into categories of their habitat. In KG2D we practiced to read simple sentences using the taught sight words from term two.
