This week KG1 were focusing on representing numbers in different ways – using the number line, dice, and tally marks. We counted objects and matched them to the correct numeral. We enjoyed making patterns and introduced the concept big/small while making patterns. For heart day we made beautiful ‘Happy Heart Day’ cards for our families. In science we are focusing on ‘Forest Animals’ – we made a fox using our cutting and gluing skills
This week KG2 were learning the ‘ch’ sound. We made ch words using jigsaws and pictures and played a fun matching game, they were also able to count to 60, form numbers to 30, skip count by 2s/5s, and add numbers to 10. In science KG2 students were excited to learn about different types of plants and find them in the environment.
