KG Newsletter Term 3, Week 4

KG1

We have had a fantastic learning week in KG1.  In English, we have been practicing CVC  “ad” family. We’ve been practicing writing mad and bad; and pasted photos beside the words.  We’ve also pretended that we are “bad” monsters to show our “mad” faces. In Math, we are learning about ‘adding one more’ take a look in our photos at our super ‘steps’ and tall towers the students made by adding one more! There were a lot of silly socks worn for Silly Sock Day which all the KG1’s really enjoyed.  Overall, it was a fun eventful week in KG1.

KG2

We have had a wonderfully busy week in KG2.  In English, they have been practicing with sentences by matching pictures with words and even creating sentences themselves with words that were given.  In Science, they got to be engineers by creating robots out of 2 D shapes and playdough. Also, it was Silly Sock Day this week which made the week even more fun.  Overall, it was a fun-filled learning week in KG2.
