KG Newsletter Term 3, Week 5

KG1: 

KG1 made a zebra for the letter z.  

They experimented on how ice turns into liquid. 

We have been revising shapes and number recognition in Math with many different activities. In science, we have been learning all about liquids and solids. We put a bag of water in the freezer that turned to ice and took them outside to watch it turn back to liquid and we got to do some water play. 

KG2:  

This week in KG2 the students are working on subtraction and addition using the number bond format. The students enjoy this theme and expand their understanding in take away throughout the week.  Majority of the students understood this topic and can now work independently during lesson time.
The students are also reviewing family words in English and can now spell and write different words on their own. Some students can read simple sentences with the family.
