RAKAA Newsletter Term 3, Week 8
KG2:
This week has been a busy week for KG2 as they took part in their first Map testing assessments. We wish All KG2 students the best of luck with their upcoming results.
In Science, KG2 have been focusing on gravity this week. The students enjoyed learning all about the effects of gravity through participating in a fun roller coaster activity to see how gravity can push and pull them.
KG2 have thoroughly enjoyed participating in their computer project which they have now completed this week. The students made their very own laptops with keyboards, and they used their amazing creative skills to decorate them.
KG1:
KG1 has also enjoyed experimenting with science this week. The students explored sound and vibrations through learning all about low and high-pitch sounds as well as creating their very own musical instruments.
KG1 have now begun to recap all the amazing topics they have covered this year through participating in focused centre and group work. Some of the topics covered this week were letter sounds, number recognition, number sets and early writing skills.
